Job description

INTERN: 

Our Emerging Talent Programs, which includes Interns, Trainees, and Superpower Academy Associates, offer unique opportunities for students, recent graduates, and emerging talent to work alongside the teams that come together to create movies, TV shows, and other great experiences. These seasonal, paid assignments provide meaningful and productive work that allows you to build on your experience and develop your skills further. You will be provided with challenging tasks, real-world experience, and many educational and social networking opportunities.

 

The Summer Internship is from May/June through August 30th (start and end dates are flexible based on school schedules) and all candidates must be able to work 20 hours a week, Monday through Sunday. The Fall Internship is from September through December 15th and all candidates must be able to work 8 hours a week on Saturday and Sunday. This position is ideal for a student enrolled in an accredited college or university. A hybrid work structure may or may not be available.

 

Set on a Hill’s marketing department is responsible for innovative marketing campaigns for both animation and streaming entertainment film and series releases.

Set on a Hill is seeking a candidate to support our talent in our Television Media & Music Touring department, based in LA. Media is a fast-paced, high-volume business requiring exceptional relationship management, attention to detail, and understanding of the client and talent. The ideal candidate should have experience in the film, music or events industry in some capacity. The individual should be motivated, a quick-thinker, and possess solid administrative and organizational skills.

The ideal candidate is organized, willing to immerse themselves in the industry, and is able to communicate with clients, talent, and executives while maintaining a high level of discretion.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Working on streaming and animation entertainment media plans
  • Assisting in building pre-planning media briefs for upcoming campaigns
  • Manage administrative duties including handling heavy phones, calendar management, coordinating meetings and schedules, scheduling travel, booking reports, preparing expense reports, and general office management tasks
  • Manage brand sponsorships and collaborations
  • Communicate directly with clients, talent and buyers, venues, and promoters
  • Creating and updating creative rotations documents
  • Creative brainstorming and ideating of media stunts and partnerships
  • Aid across multiple other facets of the team
  • Assist with special projects, research, and compiling information as needed

The (Remote) Marketing and Influencer Sponsorship Coordinator position is responsible for the acquisition and maintenance of Sponsors/Partners for our activations, photoshoots, and events. The ideal candidate will have the ability to assist in the planning and strategy related to sponsorship programs, including identifying, cultivating, and developing leads and prospects, and providing account management. Work in a fast-paced entertainment company coordinating entertainment deals, sponsorships for a family entertainment brand.

Set on a Hill is a media production house for family events, media, music, and films.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Generate leads for sponsors and partners by calling on, prospecting and qualifying potential corporate relationships with brands, partners, and venues
  • Manage and act on incoming leads and referrals and track all activity
  • Work collaboratively with the internal team to coordinate efforts and capitalize on sales opportunities.
  • Data Entry sponsor information
  • Email sponsors the proposal
  • Assist in modifying proposals for specific sponsors
  • Utilizing direct email and integrating with our CRM
  • Provide improvements to the reach-out process
  • Make calls to sponsors weekly
  • Coordinate events and activations
  • Conduct market research, analysis and reporting for internal teams.
  • Responsible for managing multiple accounts and projects simultaneously
  • Create pipelines and forecasts to account for the growth and profitability of assigned accounts and reach annual revenue goals
  • Provide a creative business/marketing approach through new ideas and creative, proactive thinking
  • Ability to create relationships with brands in multiple time zones


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a sales related role, preferably sponsorship or ad sales
  • Prior experience within the influencer, social media, or event industry is a plus
  • Experience in account management, lead generation, marketing and/or business development
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Track record of successfully maintaining client relationships with the ability to assist in the closing of new business
  • Prior exposure to contract negotiations
  • Impeccable organizational and time management skills and strong attention to detail
  • Superb written and verbal communications skills and an always-on can do attitude
  • Ability to create impeccable marketing assets and presentations
  • Strong Analytical and quantitative skills
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, multifaceted, demanding environment
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Education

  • BA/BS from an accredited University or College preferred. Current college sophomores, juniors, and seniors can also apply.

The Role

Set on a Hill is seeking a Remote Assistant to support our talent in our Music Touring department, based in LA. Music Touring connects fans to their favorite talent through live experiences in all sizes of venues, across regions, and across musical tastes. Touring is a fast-paced, high volume business requiring exceptional relationship management, attention to detail, and understanding of the client and talent. The ideal candidate should have experience working in the music or events industry in some capacity. The individual should be motivated, a quick-thinker, and possess solid administrative and organizational skills.

The ideal candidate is organized, willing to immerse themselves in the industry, and is able to communicate with clients, talent, and executives while maintaining a high level of discretion.

Responsibilities

  • Manage administrative duties including handling heavy phones, calendar management, coordinating meetings and schedules, scheduling travel, booking reports, preparing expense reports, and general office management tasks
  • Manage brand sponsorships and collaborations
  • Communicate directly with clients, talent and buyers, venues, and promoters
  • Organize & track offers (confirmed, pending or past)
  • Handle white sheets and issuing of contracts (attention to detail/formatting)
  • Enter final reports and settle event in CRM
  • Track contracts (Buyer Signed, Set on a Hill Reviewed) and deposits
  • Update client calendars, create/update Offer/Tour Grids
  • Assist with special projects, research, and compiling information as needed

Qualifications and Skills

  • 10 months of professional administrative or equivalent experience preferred
  • Ability to work well in fast-paced environments; meet tight deadlines; lead multiple projects and expectations; maintain a sharp focus while handling competing priorities
  • Attention to detail, strong organization and problem solving skills are a must
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, while understanding the importance of maintaining confidentiality
  • Ability to handle heavy phone workload of outgoing communication
  • Ability to anticipate needs and execute time-sensitive matters
  • Team oriented and able to communicate and collaborate with team memabers at all levels
  • Must be solutions oriented
  • Adept at quickly learning new processes, technology, and ability to assimilate oneself and become familiar with existing systems

Orange County/Los Angeles, CA - Film Crew

DP/Cinematographer/Videographer (Orange County, Los Angeles County, CA) – Looking for a DP/videographer that does: videography, and lighting.

Camera Assistant | 1st AC – Assist the DP with camera operation, chords and lighting.

Gaffer | Lightingchief lighting technician and head of the electric department. Ensure lighting is taken care of, source reserve and deliver equipment. Control lighting for outdoor and indoor scenes.

Sound | Production Sound Mixer – Looking for a talented sound mixer, boom operator. Oversee all of the sound for the production.

Craft Services and Marketing Assistant- Looking for someone to oversee Craft Services, find unique catering sponsorship opportunities, and manage food for the set.

Wardrobe Lead – Looking for a talented Wardrobe Lead to determine outfits for all of the cast, assist with obtaining sponsorships with local brands, managing wardrobe styling, and fittings.

Stunt Coordinator Assistant – Looking for a talented, passionate, detail oriented and upcoming stunt choreographer for trips, slips, falls, carrying, and simple parkour. You will assist the cast and director in achieving the stunts by providing detailed instructions, choreography, and leadership.

Line Producer: Breakdown script and shooting schedule for the cast. Create list of shots, cameras to use for the shot, breakdown the script. Include budgeting for each location, day, and usage of cast.

Director’s Assistant: Under the leadership of the Director we are looking for a confident Director’s Assistant to assist in framing the actors within the correct direction for the camera shots. Assist in directing actors on basic items and notated items as outlined by the Director. If you have directed in the past, we are interested in you being a major part of this production.

1st AD: 1st assistant director to communicate with all departments.

PA: Production assistants to assist with all areas on set.

Production Designer| Set Designer| Art Department: Assist with location preparation, obtaining props, setting up the scenes, ensuring continuity.

Makeup Artist | FX Makeup Artist: Handle makeup for all skin tones and genders. Handle FX makeup for cuts, scrapes, bruises, and slight bleeding.

Hair Stylist: Handle hair styling and touchups on set.

Dates: April 15, 2024 – April 26, 2024 (Minimum 7 days in this range)

Additional Dates: March 30, 2024, April 1-9, 2024 as needed
